Your Instructors

Experienced, Certified Krav Maga Instructors You Can Trust

When you train with us, our focus is on helping you learn clearly, safely, and at a pace that works for you.

Our role as instructors is to help you understand what you’re learning and why it works — not just to demonstrate techniques and move on. We explain each movement, show how it applies in real situations, and give you time to practise at a pace that makes sense for you.

During class, we actively coach and support you. We offer corrections, adjustments, and options so you can train at a level that’s appropriate for where you’re at — whether you’re completely new or returning after time away.

Our training follows a structured, internationally recognised Krav Maga curriculum, and we are certified by Krav Maga Global. This ensures consistent standards, clear progression, and practical self-defence skills that are relevant to real-world situations.

We understand that everyone starts somewhere, and our job is to help you build confidence and capability through regular, well-guided training.

Structured Progression & Levels

Training follows a clear level-based progression, giving you goals to work toward as your skills develop.

Each level builds on what you’ve already learned, helping you improve step by step rather than all at once. Levels are there to provide direction and motivation — not pressure — and you’re encouraged to progress when you feel ready.

Many students find the level system helpful because it gives structure to their training and a clear sense of progress over time, while still allowing everyone to train and improve at their own pace.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT KRAV MAGA CLASSES

Do I need any experience to start Krav Maga?

No. Most people start with no prior self-defence or martial arts experience. Everything is clearly explained and demonstrated, and you’re supported as you learn.

What if I'm not very fit?

You don’t need a high level of fitness to begin. Classes are dynamic and engaging, but you’re encouraged to work at a level that’s right for you and build up over time.

What should I wear or bring to my first class?

  • Comfortable workout clothes and a drink bottle are all you need to get started. No special equipment is required for your first class.

Is Krav Maga training safe?

  • Safety is a priority. Training is structured, instructors actively coach throughout the class, and the facility is set up specifically for Krav Maga, including safety mats on the floor.

How does the Trial Class Work?

The trial class is a chance to experience how training is run, meet the instructors, and see if it feels right for you. There’s no expectation to perform or keep up — just take part and see how it feels.

What Happens if I Want to Continue After the Trial??

  • If you decide to continue, your instructor can explain the membership options and how the level system works. There’s no pressure to decide on the day — you’re welcome to take time and ask questions.
