Taking you to the booking calendar...A structured introduction to Krav Maga — four weeks of onboarding content alongside your live training, so you build a solid foundation from day one.
When you join as a Core Member, your first month includes the 4-week Essentials onboarding program alongside your regular training. It's not a separate course — it runs in the background while you train.
Each week you'll receive a short set of videos and articles that explain the fundamentals — what you're learning in class, why it's structured the way it is, and what to focus on between sessions.
Core Membership is $150/month — no contract, cancel any time.
Pick a Core class time that works for you and book online. All three sessions are open to beginners — Saturday 8–9am, Monday or Wednesday 6:30–7:30pm. Instructor Aaron or Brad will brief you before the session starts and introduce you to the group.
Sign up for Core Membership ($150/month) and your Essentials onboarding starts immediately. Week one content lands in your inbox — context for what you covered in your first session and what to focus on next.
Over four weeks, weekly onboarding content builds alongside your live training. The videos and articles aren't abstract — they directly reinforce the techniques and concepts you're working on in class.
After your first month, you continue training as part of the regular group — with the foundations in place to keep developing. Most members train two to three times per week and progress through the KMG curriculum from there.
The four-week program follows the KMG curriculum foundations — the same material covered in your first Core classes, explained in depth so you understand not just what to do but why it works.
How to position yourself and move under pressure. The foundation everything else builds on.
Punches, elbows, and palm strikes — how to generate real force and use it effectively.
Wrist grabs, chokes, bear hugs — the situations people actually find themselves in.
Recognising risk before it escalates. Often more important than any physical technique.
Breaking free from holds and creating space — effective regardless of size or strength.
Training your response when adrenaline hits — so you react with purpose, not panic.

Yes. The Krav Maga Essentials program at Krav Maga Auckland is a structured 4-week onboarding program included with your first month of Core Membership. It covers the foundations of the KMG curriculum — stance, movement, striking, common defences, and situational awareness — delivered as weekly videos and articles that reinforce what you're learning in live classes. You don't need any prior experience to begin.
Classes at Krav Maga Auckland cover the full KMG curriculum — situational awareness and de-escalation, stance and movement, striking techniques, defences against common attacks (grabs, chokes, pushes), and how to respond under pressure. Core classes focus on the foundations and build from there. As you progress, sessions include more complex scenarios and technique combinations. Everything is taught with real situations in mind — not sport, not performance.
Most students at Krav Maga Auckland notice a real shift in awareness and confidence within the first few weeks. Usable fundamental skills typically develop within 2–3 months of regular training — around 2 sessions per week. The KMG curriculum is designed to give you practical capability at every level, not just after years of training. Your first session will already introduce techniques that work.
Completely. All three Core sessions at Krav Maga Auckland are open to beginners — no prior experience expected. Training is structured by level, so beginners work on foundations while more experienced members progress through the KMG curriculum alongside them. Classes are run so everyone progresses at their own pace.
Comfortable clothes you can move freely in — gym gear, shorts, a t-shirt. Bring water. No specialist equipment or footwear is required for your first session. Instructor Aaron or Brad will brief you on what to expect before the class starts.
