Two simple membership options at Krav Maga Auckland — Core for most members, Progression for those targeting faster advancement through KMG levels.
Most people try a class before joining — but you can sign up directly if you'd prefer.
Krav Maga Auckland membership costs $150 a month for Core or $175 a month for Progression — both month-to-month, with no long contract. Both include the full Krav Maga Global (KMG) curriculum and direct coaching from KMG-certified instructors at the Birkenhead academy.
Instructor Aaron has trained directly under Master Eyal Yanilov — founder of Krav Maga Global — at 17 international camps over the past decade. The curriculum you train at Krav Maga Auckland is the international KMG civilian system, taught the way it was designed to be taught.
Awareness, de-escalation, and physical techniques designed to work in real situations — not sport, not theory.
Most members notice meaningful changes in fitness, focus, and confidence within the first month — not just in training, but in everyday life.
Beginners welcome from session one. Structured Essentials Course available, with direct coaching from KMG-certified instructors throughout.
Both memberships give you the full KMG curriculum and direct coaching from certified instructors. Month-to-month, no long contract — cancel any time.
Direct coaching from KMG-certified instructors and the full international curriculum. Train two to three sessions a week — the pace where most members see consistent progress.
Everything in Core, plus level-specific extras and grading inclusions. For members targeting faster KMG progression.
Not sure which is right for you? Most members start on Core — you can upgrade to Progression at any time.
A trial class tells you more than any page can. You'll meet the instructors, train with the existing members, and see exactly how the classes run — before you decide whether to join.
No equipment needed. No prior experience required.
Recommended, not required. Most people book a trial class first so they can meet the instructors, see the academy, and experience how training actually feels before committing to membership. If you're already certain you want to join, you can sign up directly via the membership options above.
Core is $150 a month, Progression is $175. Both are month-to-month with no long contract, and both include direct coaching from KMG-certified instructors plus the full international KMG curriculum. At two sessions a week — the pace most members train — that works out around $20 a class.
Three things, for $25 more a month. Core gives you all standard Core classes — Saturday morning, Monday and Wednesday evening. Progression adds all KMG gradings included (no extra fees), full video portal access for studying technique outside class, and the Wednesday level-specific extension (7:30–8pm, P2 and above) — this session is exclusive to Progression members, not available to Core members even at P2+. Most members start on Core. Progression suits members targeting faster level advancement.
Yes, any time. Upgrade from Core to Progression whenever you're ready, or downgrade if Core suits you better. Most members start on Core and stay there. Some upgrade to Progression as they advance through the curriculum and start working toward gradings.
Yes — two complimentary guest visits per member, every term. Bring a different training partner each time, or the same one twice. It's a good way to get someone off the fence without them having to book a trial class themselves.

No — membership only. Consistent training is what builds real capability, so Krav Maga Auckland runs on a membership model rather than drop-ins. The trial class is the way to experience training without committing to membership — after that, the next step is one of the membership options above.
