Krav Maga is a modern and practical self defence system that will prepare you for real situations. It is renown for being relatively simple to learn but highly effective for both men and women as it does not rely on strength or size. Our curriculum is comprehensive covering real situations you might find yourself in and gives you techniques and tactics to successfully defend yourself.
Our program is structured so that you learn first effective counter attacking skills and defensive techniques against the most common threats and attacks. You can then progress to learning almost anything you can think of!
Counter Strikes and Combinations
- Hand Strikes (Punches, Palm Strikes, Elbow Strikes, Hammer Strikes)
- Kicks (Front Kicks, Stomp Kicks, Round House Kicks, Knee Strikes)
Defences vs Hand Strikes & Kicks
- Defend Straight Punches
- Defend Circular Strikes
- Defend Kicks & Knee Strikes
Defences vs Weapon Threats & Attacks
- Defend Knife Threats and Attacks (level1)
- Defend Stick, Pistol and riffle Threats & Attacks (higher levels)
Defence vs Chokes, Grabs & Other Holds
- Defend Chokes - Standing and on the Ground (level 1)
- Defend wrist grabs, headlocks (standing and ground), nelsons, bearhugs (higher levels)
How the On-line Program Works
This online program models the program we taught in our NZ clubs and in any of the Krav Maga Global clubs in over 60-countries worldwide. Because this is an online program we've also added drills and exercises you can practice by yourself or with a partner.
